So, it's no secret that I am more word savvy than my husband, and it still really bothers him that I am very often more clever in terms of puns and all around hilarity in general.
And just so you know, 9 times out of 10, if we are in a social situation, and he blurts out something hilarious, it's because I whispered it to him first and he repeated what I said. He does this all. the. time. He has no shame.
Anyway this little dialogue made me laugh yesterday.
Setting: Troy and Sofia are driving home from dinner Troy's parents' house. Troy is feeling extra witty on the drive home.
Troy: "I'm going to open up a liquor store and call it 'Alco-mall'".
Sofia: "Alco-mall?"
Troy: "Yeah, like 'alcohol' and 'mall' put together."
Sofia: "Why wouldn't you just call it Alco-hall?"
(silence)
(....more silence)
Sofia: "Are you made because I'm funnier th--"
Troy: "Yup."
Love him.
Anyway, we are going to go buy Avery a whole bunch of new toys after Troy gets home from working on his marriage-ruiner car. Can't wait!
Any suggestions on good toys for an 18-month old?

Dude, she LOVED those plastic cups! Get her some more plastic cups, just a different color! Lets go to lakeshore learning center and check out the toys! xoxo
My little guy is 20 mnths and he loves Mr.Potato Head, any of the Melissa and Doug play food sets, Fisher Price Little People (any of their playsets) and of course hotwheels cars. (not helpful for a girl though..)
ReplyDeleteOne of my bff's has a little girl who's in love with the Disney Princess Babies, the Fisher Price "Learning home", the "Baby Stella" doll from Manhattan toys (she's super cute), and the Little Tikes "Cozy Coupe" car.... Oh I could go on and on!!!
